Utilising information from both Trafficmaster and journey time information from scoot loops and ANPR, Traffic information can be overlaid in various different ways, from flashing icons detailing speed and journey times to colouring of major commuter routes in and out of the city. Live CCTV images provide excellent information to local residents, even down to how the weather is! Utilising our caching technology MetroTV caches images minimising data from the council servers.
Bus
Live bus information gives users the ability to clearly understand where buses are, making bus travel an extremely viable option. Live information on bus location is retrieved from the UTMC database upon request and presented to the user in a clear easy to use form. Presented like the information within the bus stops this is particularly good for safety at night when travelers can time their arrival at their stop.
Trains
Live Train Information helps provide commuters and residents with information on any problems and also timetables on local and national services. The service shows live arrivals and live departures from all the local railway stations.
Parking
Car parking information can also be retrieved, giving users information on where the car parks are located, costs, and hours of opening, along with the number of spaces currently available. This information cuts down wasted journeys to full car parks and provides a full local rundown of places.
